Writing for forensicsos - Information for Authors
forensicsos publishes in English and to an International audience. We have a diverse readership spanning the globe - forensic experts, forensic practitioners, academics, legal and law enforcement stakeholders and to those who have an interest in anything forensic from A to Z.
If your article is accepted and published on the forensicsos site, we will then offer you your own biographical page which you may use to publish further information. You can view the Author Index here.
How to make an unsolicited submission
It really is up to you as to how much time and effort you wish to invest in preparing your Forensics Article or Forensics Feature. An average Article or Feature contains around 900 to 1300 words - that's about 2 / 3 pages of A4. It can be shorter and indeed longer - but it does have to be of a reasonable standard and relevant in anything forensic from A to Z.
Where you wish to publish lots of information, consider having two parts - a reasonable amount contained on the site itself and further information which can be contained in downloadable pdf's.
It is worthwhile familiarising yourself with the content on forensicsos, to prevent duplication and to complement previous submissions. Let us know if your article has been published elsewhere - websites or in traditional print form, providing links or references where appropriate.
If this is the first time you are submitting a Forensics Article or Forensics Feature, please supply your contact details and any relevant biographical information together with any links which you may feel are appropriate e.g. http://www.linkedin.com/
Articles can be submitted to the Editorial Team by sending an email to ed@forensicsos.com

a) the work is your own or compiled with the necessary permissions in place, before you submit your article to the editorial team at ed@forensicsos.com
b) case studies and features contain accurate information and where a feature refers to a court case, in any part of the World, that the case has been concluded.
c) that the research work or feature article is accompanied with your name, occupation and or job title. You can include your email address for readers to get in touch.
For those that are interested, we are looking into adopting a Creative Commons Licence in the future and so will report back to our Forensics Authors at a later date regarding options.
